To all the Wizard Game's guests... Welcome! We do hope you will find an interest in the Wizard Game! What is WG? It is an online RPG we are creating which is based on a local organization of the same name. With this site we will introduce you to the game. Read on to find out more about it. More comprehensive instructions will be offered later on, but for now we wish to give you a taste of the upcoming phenomenon (we hope!) At the beginning, you choose a character and lay it in the centre of your playing mat. Then you draw five cards from your library. Cards you can obtain are: Currency:-Elven Currency -Common Currency Weaponry:-Hand -Short range -Long range Armor: -Body -Shield -Head/Face Potions Charms Negatives ... Currency: Elven Currency : The less commun currency in WG. Some items don't need these to be bought, but most do. Are worth more than the comon currency. Common currency: The more common currency in WG. All items need at least one of these to be bought. * - To be able to use your money, it must have been deposited in your bank account. You may only deposit one currency card in your bank account per turn. - * You can buy the many kinds of weaponry, armor, potions and charms with the currency. -Weaponry enhances your character's ATTACK -Armor enhances your character's DEFENCE -Potions enhance either your character's DEXTERITY, WISDOM, AGILITY, SPEED... -Charms enhance your character's LUCK ... -Negatives decrease one of your opponents' abilities, and some of them destroy opponents' items, or even steal from a player's bank account. A person can have up to four negatives. You have to pay to put a negative in place. You can switch items, but the one switched is put in the discard pile. You can have up to 10 items on a single character. The point of the game is to defeat the other players' characters. All characters begin with a few points. For example, 14/32 ATTACK. That means your character hits with 14 to begin with, but with weapons, his hit points can go right up to 32. All characters' max-outs are different, but in all, they always equal the same amount, 150. The characters usually start off with about 50 to 70 points. You must play at least one card per turn or face a random discard (you hold up all you cards to an opponent [cards facing you] and he or she picks one randomly and puts it in the discard pile.) On your turn: The phases of a turn: Drawing: Draw as many cards as you can, until you have exactly FIVE in your hand. Card playing: You put down your cards or discard. Attacking: You may or may not attack one of your opponents, yet only with a certain amount of items (one armor and one weapon, plus a potion OR charm) Healing: All damages dealt to all characters (opponents also) are healed and forgotten.
